History

Established in 2007.

Started as a full scale veterinary practice in 1956 as JW & EC Howard: EC & SM Howard from 1983.

In 2007, when EC Howard retired, the full practice was closed and Howard’s Neutering Clinic was started as a limited service provider.

Meet the Business Owner

Susan H.

Business Owner

Susan Howard, born before 1960 (which is as much as I’m saying), qualified from the Royal Veterinary College London in 1978.

Worked in my parents’ veterinary practice after qualification and became practice principal after my father’s death in 1983.

Married in 1987 but use my maiden name for work.

Having worked single-​handed for six years I decided it was time to cut down the workload and closed the main business in 2007, allowing my mother to retire.

Now running the neutering and vaccination clinic which keeps social hours and allows me time off!
