Went with a group of nine friends, we went crazy for the menu and ordered a lot of fantastic food. Probably drove the kitchen mad. But they pulled it off brilliantly. Our table was almost too small, but it was cozy and intimate. I’d visit again next time I’m in town, maybe with a few less people.

There’s nowhere better in Norwich, as far as I’ve ever experienced. A convivial atmosphere, friendly bar staff(the guys, anyway — the girls are mostly hot and sultry, which is a fair tradeoff) and the best pizza you’ll find in East Anglia. Suitable for hardcore flaneurs, cineastes(movies play pretty well nightly) and foodies alike, this is the best place in town to hunker down with a newspaper/your work/a book and waste some time. Likewise, as the hours pass, it becomes a premier meeting spot if you want to hang out with a group of friends, a wonderful place for a date, chug back a beer or sample a new cocktail… it’s endless. I love this place. Also, they have Scrabble and a BOXOFFUCKINGLEGO. Seriously guys, what more do you want? So yes, it’s hipstery. But that’s no inherent bad thing, right?
