Charming little family-run Italian restaurant /café situated on the corner of the market place in Bingham. All looks quite new, fresh and clean. We visited for the first time on a Saturday for lunch, when it was quiet, with only two other tablets taken out if the eight 4-seater tables they have. The placemats are the menu(laminated), so you can always see what’s available, even if if does look a little cheap. The drinks seem to be limited to house wine(red, white or rose), Peroni or Moretti, cider or Nespresso coffees, but there IS a wine list available on request. The food seems pretty good! Quite authentic and all hand-made fresh in the open kitchen, visible from the restaurant. We had a rather nice«Italian job» pizza with a lovely crunchy thin crust base. My penne Bolognese was made with locally sourced beef and the sauce was very rich and tomatoey with lots of spicy tang, and the portion was huge! The ceiling is high and therefore it isn’t too noisy. Nicely relaxing twinkly piano jazz was playing softly in the background too. They have been open since Dec 2013 and do take-out too. All-in-all a very nice new experience!
