History

Established in 1980.

Patrick Laverty, a graduate from Queens University, Belfast founded the practice and has over 30 years experience as a general law practitioner. He now holds Consultant status with us and specialises in Magistrates Court work, Road Traffic matters, Litigation and Conveyancing.

Pauline McKenna is our Principal Solicitor, and also a graduate from Queens, Belfast. She joined Patrick Laverty & Co. in 1994. Pauline became a partner in 1998 and took on the responsibilities of Principal Solicitor in 2006.

Pauline specialises in Conveyancing for private and commercial clients and in all the various aspects of Wills, Probate settlements and Estate Planning.

Grainne Tally obtained her Law Degree from Queen’s University, Belfast, in 2005, and went on to qualify as Solicitor with a Distinction from the Institute of Professional Legal Studies. Grainne specialises in Matrimonial and Children’s Order law.
