Specialists providing show wear including our range of show shirts, jodhpurs and oxblood boots for child and adult as well bespoke clothing. For the horse we offer our own in house browbands and all the horse preparation shampoos, conditioners and make up from the leading manufacturers.

History

Established in 2006.

This family business’ first shop opened in Mirfield then moves to its current, larger premises in Ossett in 2010. It has experienced staff who can help you with all your equestrian requirements.

Bits and Pieces has its own online shop as well as a mobile unit which attends outdoor shows in summer months

Meet the Manager

Nicola L.

Manager

Nicola grew up with ponies from an early age. She was a member of Badsworth Pony Club where she learnt the skills of handling and riding horses in a structured environment and also worked at the local RDA. She went onto take equine studies at Bishop Burton College and then competed at show jumping and cross country.

She then worked in a number of competition yards and breaking youngsters.

Nicola has qualified as a level 1 E.E. instructor (enlightened equitation).

With opening of the shop Nicola has successfully completed BETA training courses in Riding Hat and Body Protector fitting. She has also completed courses in lorinery (bits and bitting)
