I love the baguettes they sell here, they have some interesting choices on the menu which vary from time to time– some you wouldn’t think of trying but they all taste so good. They are also very fresh which is important, they are ready made but I have never found this to be a problem. In fact it’s great if you’re in a hurry, and this place does get busy. They do a special meal deal too, which works out great value. One of the best take away baguette shops around. Owned by Mortons in Oxford, which again are always busy. Definately worth a try.

Felson’s suffers rather from being at either the far end of Summertown (or right at the beginning if you’re coming from the centre). It serves good fair trade coffees and teas and hardly ever has a queue — which is why I prefer it to Costa and Marks and Spencers, both of which are nice but you can spend a long time just queuing up. If you want a fast caffine fix and especially if you want a fast take-away drink then Felson’s is a better bet (the other two have comfier seats though).
