This is not an attractive pub, from the outside, and inside it tends to the sticky-​carpet and pool table school of pub decoration. But despite that it’s a decent enough place for a pint and a pie, and is friendly and welcoming most of the time. The ladies’ loos are not always brilliant, but other than that it’s not too bad at all.
