I like these halls of residence but i disagree they are the best. Yes they are close to gypsy, but so is cheney. And cheney is a little nicer but full of rich kids. The resaon? It costs more to stay there. almost as much as harcourt which is catered. So warneford, its opposite gypsy lane campus — no need for a car or bike. Speaking of cars, if you stay here you wont want to bring your car. The closest place to park is cheney lane and that is REALLY unsafe. I should know, my car was broken into there. I wouldnt say the halls are the most sociable. All the halls have quads. The most sociable is probably harcourt hill because the whole hall even has dinner together. By the time you leave there you will know the names of 400 people, this isnt the case at warneford. But it is a good location, cean, fairly new and has its own footy place.

You ask someone where this halls is and no one can tell you. Yet it is the closed to the gypsy lane campus! Its modest population of 350, with big quad linking all the blocks, make warneford hall one of the more social residency of oxford brookes. A self catering halls with two bathrooms per 6 person flat was very acceptable. but the great thing about this halls is that across the road you have your own, never used set of two football pitches. Unlike residents of cheney and other place on campus, ur never fighting for space
