First and foremost, we left due to bedbugs in Room 8. I was bitten, and then caught a few to confirm. We then left after paying for the previous nights we stayed. Management didn’t refund our money for the previous nights, but didn’t dispute our claims or make us pay for the night we left at 2am either. They said they’d be hiring experts to come clean the bedbugs out, but until that happens I can’t recommend this place to anyone.
Should the bedbugs be removed– Great location and friendly efficient service. Only on street parking. The price was expensive for the below average furnishings– but not for the location to Penzance city center. We had a broken towel hook, paintings hung randomly, a random selection of furniture, and a bit worn out curtains etc. But everything seemed clean and well maintained (except for the beg bugs). We got a map on arrival with good restaurants and sights circled for us, and that was very helpful. The food recommendations were also good.
The breakfast was cold cereal, fruit, and toast. This was «served» via a refrigerator in the room (light sleepers would not like the cycling of the coolant pump). Tea and instant coffee were also provided (toaster and microwave were also provided in the room). Good for if you want breakfast anytime or want to sleep in, bad if you want a nice breakfast.
