nice place for expensive chocolates

Just your average Thorntons, like the one in Stamford. It has everything you acn ever need form a chocolate shop.

Thorntons in Queensgate is quite a small sized branch but it does have a good selection of goodies on offer! Chocolate galore! You can pick and mix and have a boxed selection made up or choose one of their ready boxed selections. They also offer a service where they write a personal message on a slab of chocolate, a bottle shaped chocolate or indeed easter eggs and the like! Personally im a cadburys milk chocolate fan and find Thorntons chocolates a bit rich but I do like to purchase gifts in there. During the summer months they do sell equisite ice cream! Its ok but to be honest I can now buy Thorntons chocolate in my local Tesco or indeed online and have it delivered direct to the recipient!

I love Thorntons! This is small shop but full of sweets! They do a gift wrapping service. In the summer they have ice cream and in the winter they have a choc fountain! They have offers on close to Christmas. They also sell cold drinks. Located downstairs in Queensgate.
