At Marine Engineering Looe Volvo Penta Centre, our highly trained and experienced service engineers can carry out fast fault diagnosis, inspect engines in boat prior to purchase, service, repair or overhaul any engine. All our engineers are EVC trained and equipped with diagnostic equipment. They always attend Volvo Penta’s new products training courses to keep them up to speed with the very latest technology.

History

Established in 1951.

Marine Engineering Looe was established in 1951 and became the main Volvo Penta Centre for the South West of England in 2009, with branches in Plymouth (Queen Anne’s Battery Marina) and Brixham (Dartside Quay) run successfully by the Newton family for three generations.

All engineers and parts personnel have attended regular courses at Volvo Penta to keep up-​to-​date with the latest technology whilst retaining a vast knowledge of older installations.

Marine Engineering Looe are entrusted by Princess Yachts International and Volvo Penta for all new engine commissioning and warranty repairs on some of the most prestigious motor yachts in the world.
