The Maternity unit of Poole Hospital. It is in much need of rebuilding but has state of the art equipment for premature and poorly babies. Happily the majority are born happy and healthy.
A very warm building for obvious reasons, and the staff are amazing. They know all about cold white cabbage leaves.
Homebirths are supported, waterbirths and there is the low risk unit for practiced Mums.
