Very good service and excellent food! Visited on a Saturday for late lunch. We were quickly seated and although the food took a little while to arrive it was worth it.

Another great chain restaurant offering a cosy atmosphere with speedy service. The place is always crammed with prams and young families on a weekend so always book in advance if you want an enjoyable space amongst the deli shop-feel décor. I love the duck pie and the mini fresh doughnuts to finish.

Bill’s can be counted on for a good brunch in Richmond. I usually get the green smoothie, scrambled eggs on toast with bacon or eggs benedict. The servers are always pleasant and the food comes out quickly. Nothing spectacular here, but solid enough to keep us coming back.

I don’t know how I’m the first to review this particular location!?! Just moved from the other side of the river and have been eyeing this place for a bit. I’ve actually been to one of their other locations in Brighton and remember seeing that they had one in Richmond… it was that good that I remembered to seek it out. My party of 4 visited today for lunch and had a great time. Great ambiance, great host and servers, and equally great lunch. I ordered the hamburger with sweet potato fries, my partner had the mussels in white wine sauce, and we also tried the cumberland sausages(my personal fave), mac n cheese and calamari that was ordered for the table. All was really good and everyone left there feeling quite happy. I am definitely going to remember this place as a date night option. It’s really quite romantic with a few tables having a view of the Thames. Definitely recommend and will be back soon!

I love this place! My boyfriend and I come here all the time. Perfect for before/after a day at the movies, or shopping in Richmond. We always get the Cumberland sausage as a starter. They have good drinks too. The desserts we like are the Eton Mess and the lemon meringue pie in a glass. Their fish dishes are always good, and so is the naked burger. The moules frites as well! I have only ordered one thing EVER that I didn’t like — and that was because i forgot to read that a salad came with mayonnaise-like dressing. Other than that, I have had fabulous meals here — and the price is perfect for what you get! Service is good, but not overbearing.

I went to bills for breakfast over the weekend, after a few bad reviews from friends I thought I’d see what it was like for myself. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the best. I’m not sure if they were under staffed but our service was very slow, it took 20mins for them to take our food order, we actually had to ask if we could order. The coffee was good and the eggs Benedict was also good. A friends eggs were over cooked and my other mates fresh juice tasted like garlic. We can only guess that they had not cleaned the juicer in a while. We mentioned to the waiter both about the eggs and the juice and he was very helpful and dealt with each complaint very well. The prices were reasonable and like I said my food was fine, so I’m not sure if it was a bad day or not. I personally won’t go back anytime soon as there are plenty of restaurants.

It is unusual for me to feel compelled enough to write a negative review. Places are usually not bad enough to motivate me to do so — Bill’s in Richmond is the exception. I have never experienced poor service on the level I did here last fortnight The staff are unattentive, completely disinterested and without a care for customer enjoyment. After the 15 minute wait for food, the waiter dropped everything on the floor and hustled off without as much as an apology. They left my girlfriend to eat alone whilst I waited, without an explain of what was going on. Not even an offer of a drink. For the remainder of out time in there we were avoided through staff embarrassment which only served to make the whole thing even worse. I laughed at the time, but in hindsight the serious lack of BASIC customer service skills there deserves highlighting in the hope that someone there reads it. At the end of the meal they bought a receipt with a £5 service charge which(considering they served the food to the floor) should have been removed without my having to ask. AVOID!!!

What a disappointment! This is right up the street from my office, after the«intersection of death». If you don’t want to risk getting smooshed, you have to take a convoluted route from my office, crossing the street, walking past the restaurant, and crossing again. So despite being convenient… it’s inconvenient. The décor is amazing. Spot on. Really B&B/cottage/boutique feeling. I want the decorator to do my house. There are jars of foods around on shelves that are also for purchase. The chairs had nice little cushions on them. The music was fantastic –various soul, rock, and pop from the last 50 years, it seemed. Nothing grating. Nothing offensive to anyone. 10 points for ambiance. Not a huge fan of the large wooden crate full of toilet paper that is in the bathroom but I see what they are going for. The service wasn’t bad, either. The woman who ran our food out had two of our burgers mixed up but that wasn’t a big deal. But the food. It’s why we’re there. And other than the vegetarian risotto, I think everyone was disappointed. We got the mezze platter which had hardly any pita but tons of dip. It was awkward to finish because of the lack of stuff to dip into the large portions of baba ganouj, red pepper dip, and hummus. The burgers were undercooked. My piri piri chicken was dry and came with 0 vegetables and hardly any rice. I probably won’t go back. I would suggest it for a date over drinks because it’s so cute but the food was meh.
