MD Private Hire is a family run business and has been operating an Executive Chauffeur Service for over 4 years, with year on year growth due to our personable service resulting in numerous corporate partners and our loyal customer base.

With over 30 years experience of providing driving services Tom is the owner and main driver for MD Private Hire. Tom previously worked for 27 years as a Chauffeur and then Chauffeur Manager at Taylor Woodrow (now known as Taylor Wimpey). Key to the success of MD Private Hire is the personable and reliable service that is embedded in every journey we complete.

MD Private Hire differs from the competition by not adding additional costs on top of the quoted fair. We do not charge for credit card transactions, short duration waiting times, child seats or parking.

Our drivers will also inform you of the best method to complete your journey in the shortest time, for example agreeing a meeting place away from the major congested areas during an event

Business Owner

Tom Colgan is the Owner of MD Private Hire and also the main driver. Tom has over 30 years of professional driving experience and has completed a number of advanced driving courses with the Institute of Advanced Motorists.

Tom also possesses an Enhanced CRB check, which is valid until 2014.
