Specialties
Long established as the only place worth drinking at when the rugby’s on at Twickenham, our fantastic pub has so much more to offer than just our giant HD screens and a lively environment for sports enthusiasts. There’s nowhere for miles around where you can find such welcoming staff serving up our great quality menu of British classics accompanied by the finest beer and wine.
History
Established in 1780.
Said to be named after the first orange tree to be brought to Britain and planted at Kew Gardens, the Orange Tree dates from at least 1780, although it was rebuilt around 1897 in its current disctinctive terracotta and brick style.
Originally the home of the Orange Tree Theatre which is now next door, this was the first licensed pub theatre of its kind.
