A lovely restaurant with a family-run feel. The owner and team are very friendly and make great recommendations from the menu, which has a great selection of typical and seasonal meals. In the summer book an outdoor table to enjoy the local Kew setting, and always end the night with a limoncello or two!

The most delicious pizza place around. Also, their delivery is fast and the pizza is always hot and cheesy!

We are huge fans of this restaurant. As a family we often visit as the food is excellent. Gerardo is a real highlight as well, making everyone feel welcome. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is after a premier dining experience and likes to be welcomed for dinner.

This place was perfect. We had the garlic cheese bread and the bruschetta for starters… then the tricolore salad… All of which were amazing… Then we had the Rigatoni Arabbiata con pollo. It was perfect and they even ask how spicy you would like it… I ordered the ravioli which was delicious but very heavy… Dessert we had the gelato and the fruit tarte thing… i cant begin to explain how good it all was… the service was great. Everyone was so friendly. We brought our 8 month old baby which is always a little iffy at nice restaurants, but all the staff were playing with her and stuff. I cant recommend this place enough. Several people waited on us and they were all great. We will definitely be going back again and again.

Nice little place hidden away about 5 minutes walk from Kew tube station. Recently refurbished. Good to pop down for lunch if you’re visiting Kew Gardens. Very friendly staff.

Im not really sure what to say about this place. I suppose it has its good points and also its bad. The good points are its prices. If you pick your 3 courses correctly, you can get a real bargain. You would have to wonder why its so cheap. I can only say that this place is not really for the young crowd. I was even a little nervous speaking loudly. the decore is pretty bog standard. Makes you feel like you are in a cheap french restaurant. I cannot complain about the food though. It came quicklly and tasted good, but i cannot see myself going there again. I guess its a marmite restaurant judging by the other reviews.

I had been past Q-Verde many times but never thought to pay it a visit, until I read a few glowing reviews on Qype. Sadly I was very disappointed. To start, our table linen and cutlery were dirty(unforgiveable in my books), and the ‘Q-Verde Pasta Special’ I ordered was very mediocre, and consisted of no more than 4 mouthfuls. Perhaps they were just having a ‘bad night’, but I really don’t get what all the fuss is about.

I love going to Kew Gardens and almost always end up at QVerde for a meal We go to Qverde, around once a month, so i guess we are almost regulars, and they have never let us down!!! The staff are wonderful and cater to my fussy needs everytime! It is a lovely family owned restaurant and i would recommend it to anyone who enjoys good food! The prices are very reasonable and the quality of the food is great — it is always fresh and good portion sizes!

I feel a bit worried reviewing this place as it really is Kew’s best kept secret. They even say so on their website! They have a blackboard three course menu of £16.95 and the choice is really good and changes each week. The first time I was there I had asparagus with parma ham, half a lobster with spaghetti, and a delicious crème brûlée which for that price in Kew is an absolute bargain. Kew is the home of one of my favourite restaurants — The Glasshouse — but it’s Michelin starred and obviously Michelin stars come at a price. Q-Verde can’t really compete with that but it holds its own as a small family run(I imagine) restaurant with attentive staff, cosy atmosphere and some unusual frescos on the ceiling. The clientele is sort of what you would expect in Kew — middle classed, well spoken, middle aged(in the main) — if you want a younger crowd go to the Inn in Kew Gardens or formerly«Firkin» owned Railway pub. But if you want a pleasant, quiet and cosy evening meal go there. I don’t know why I haven’t been to Q-Verde more often in the past, but I certainly will go regularly from now on.
