Thai Upon Thames

We had a soft shell crab starter and calamari. The calamari was good but the soft shell crab was not cleaned properly– no good. My friend got the lamb and she raved about it. I had green curry and found it to be okay. The pad thai came with large shrimp, next time I might try that. Will come back again and give them another try.

I am a fiend for pad thai. No seriously, I’m always looking for it! We’ve gotten takeaway from here once, and thoroughly enjoyed it. But tonight was our first time eating in. We went at quarter to 7, and even then it was kind of empty, but that didn’t deter us! (A few groups did end up moseying in soon after.)
This time they had a special promotion! Get 1 main, get the other free! Little bells played bonanza in my head. Unfortunately the pad thai that I’ve grown to love from there wasn’t part of the promo, but we got chicken thai green curry and a chili beef panang. And actually the pad thai as well. All of our dishes were delicious! And they came out super quick.
The staff were lovely, the décor was nice, and the price was reasonable. Will definitely keep them in mind the next time the pad thai cravings come.

Good quality Thai food at a reasonable price. Portions have become somewhat smaller in the last year (hence three stars) however the quality is still good. Currently offering special discounts.
