One of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. I don’t give out 5 stars lightly but I struggle to find a fault for the Zafraan. The food is exceptional with a huge variety and lots of different dishes that you wouldn’t usually think of, with the lamb dishes being a real highlight. It’s all presented perfectly too. Very polite, attentive service. The entire restaurant is spotless aswell. As it’s so good it does get busy on weekends but even then the staff don’t ever seem to struggle with the number of customers and you can book ahead of time to ensure you get a table. Would recommend the Zafraan to everyone.

unfortunately only very few american Unilocalers will ever get the chance to eat here (16 miles outside of london, in an unfashionable slightly suburban area).
i feel like dropping down Agra and Taste Of India 2 stars (previous reviews) but that would not be very fair to them as they are the best in LA.
Zaafran is brilliantly refined Indian food. everything is better than you think it will be.
