We offer a flexible counselling service with five options. Telephone counselling — available nationally including using Skype and webcam if required. Online counselling via email counselling. MSM or ICQ instant messenger. Face to face counselling — in Runcorn or come to you in Cheshire /​Merseyside area — mileage may be charged but this will be agreed prior to session. Counsellor will be escorted but escort will stay outside.

History

Established in 2007.

I became aware of how often may people want to talk but don’t because services were not available at a time and way to suit them — for the recently diagnosed with a serious illness, for the carer who feels invisible whilst dealing with life changes and trauma, for those busy with children, family or work to find time for self — who was around outside of 9 to 5?

That’s the reason 1 To 1 Counselling is offered in such a flexible way.

I have been a carer for most of my life, I’ve also worked in advocacy and am aware of the practical and mobility difficulties some people face which might prevent them from accessing counselling.

Counselling since 2001 when I was trained to offer a one to one service with Arthritis Care.

When the opportunity arose I undertook the certificate and then diploma training and I offer this service as a fully trained, experienced, insured, intergrative counsellor.

Integrated, in my case, means I use a mix of person centred, psychodynamic and CBT counselling depending on the needs of each individual (that means I can work with you on issues from the past, present or even fears for the future).

As well as my counselling qualifications, I have both the Diploma and Practitioner qualification in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and the Diploma in Clinical and Analytical Hypnotherapy. All this means I can tailor my service to better meet your needs.
