Jempson’s Superstore

Went there each day but not Sunday, as it is closed. It has a shelf called WIGiG, that means
” When its gone its gone”!

This is a medium-​sized supermarket in the Budgens chain (I didn’t realise they were still going until I visited).
Not the greatest of choice, and not the most helpful of layouts (I only wanted a few items and it took a bit of searching) but probably fine if you on holiday in the area and want to do a general shop. Staff seemed helpful, too.
Big pluses are the location — it’s within easy walking distance of the centre of this small town, and it also has car parking. It is also just across the road from the railway station, if you want to pick up provisions before travelling or hiking in the area, etc.
