Tiny, adorable wedding dress shop where they hand make the dresses!
During a day of intense wedding dress shopping this newish shop in Sale was recommended to us by another shop in Didsbury. We turned up without an appointment and they kindly squeezed us in.
There is a smaller choice of dresses than a lot of other places but they are all gorgeous. The inside reminded me of Alice in Wonderland with lovely furniture and accessories everywhere.
The lady who owns it makes the dresses and I was so happy and excited to see the ‘made in manchester’ tags on everything. They also have some really lovely shoes, veils and vintage style headbands to choose from. I tried on about 5 dresses and they were all lovely. They literally make the dress to tie measurements rather than you ordering a size and getting it adjusted.
The prices are average for wedding dresses (£1200−1400 for the one I liked). The lead time is around 5,5 months at the moment to get a dress made. The lady who helped us was so friendly and really made the experience wonderful. I can’t sit to go with a proper appointment to try on more dresses.
