An affordable place to eat if you’re tired with fast food and American places with some British classics and a good grill. I ordered my usual steak and was quietly amazed at the portion that greeted me! Sometimes I’m a bit cautious with places that offer a varied menu, but my steak was nicely cooked and moist. Overall a good place to eat.

Popped here for some post dress shopping fuel with my friend on a Monday evening. They do a steak, fries and rocket special at £8.95 so we both opted for that with a side of slaw. The type of steak only lent itself to being cooked either well or medium so not a good option if you normally like your steak positively moo-ing! I opted for medium(I normally fall into the steak moo-ing category!) and the steak was tasty cooked on a flame grill. Chips were chips but the slaw was pleasingly good –not too much mayo, nice touch of lemon and good crunchy cabbage which is often not the case with most coleslaw. We shared a banoffee cheesecake which was also pretty good. Service was swift and efficient, however they add a 10% service charge to all bills no matter how many diners so hence the 3 stars. I don’t mind tipping for good service but i do like it to be at my discretion not assumed.

I went here with my Nephew and Brother last weekend to have a meal before going to the cinema. The food was great, we had two very nice young ladies waiting on us, both were very attentive and professional. Thye food was very nice, the Bangers and Mash was one of the nicest I have had. Drinks were over priced but all the Trafford Centre is like that :/ Very relaxed environment, professional staff and not too expensive, I will definately go back :)

Potters bar offers up classics from world cuisine, including Burritos, Lasagne, Bangers & Mash, Stroganoff and The Humdinger Burger. It has a very American, diner feel to it, which is also reflected in the menu, not least when it comes to portion size! Last time I sat down here my boyfriend and I shared a ‘Hot One’ platter: jalapeño peppers, spicy chicken wings, spicy crumbed mushrooms, garlic bread and carrot & celery batons with spicy tomato and sour cream dips). It was a mistake to get the Cobb Salad on the side, as it was completely devastating to the stomach but impossible not to finish! I loved the crispy bacon and blue cheese, which they weren’t shy on. Everything came to just over £20: a tasty and cheap lunch.
