Ordered a Olympus DS-​7000 digital dictaphone system (top of the range machine) at the best possible price from cbccomputers. Their description in the title said ‘no software’ and at the end of the description in brackets ‘no speech recognition software included’.
In box contents, however, it said that included was Olympus Dictation Management Software and DSS for Mac.
Delivery from their distributor was swift (48 hours) after ordering.
However, the disc/​s containing the Olympus Dictation Management Software and DSS for Mac were not included. I have spoken to them today and they were very helpful on the phone, saying that they acknowledged the error and that they would contact the manufacturer (Olympus) to ensure the software was sent out to me.
So I’m waiting for a phone call tomorrow to hear what they have to say. I have saved a copy of the web page description of what I ordered to be on the safe side.
Let’s see and I will let update my review. So far, mixed feelings as I feel I’ve paid good money (nearly £400) for a top end machine and haven’t been sent what I ordered, but they appear to be trying to help.
Okay, 48 hours later now and yesterday, I was told by cbc that it was their error and that they would honour their item description and send a new machine out with the software included, no extra charge. Their customer service adviser was fantastic (Gemma a credit to the company).
She arranged for the new dictaphone to be delivered today (already arrived and correct btw) and for the old one to be picked up. All within 48 hours! And the icing on the cake, she arranged it for today because I pointed out I was at work tomorrow and the long bank holiday was coming up with the Queen’s jubilee. She even emailed me confirmation.
Okay cbc, 5 stars for customer service, but 3 because you got it wrong at the start with the item description, so 4 stars overall. Credit where it’s due.

Ordered some memory as these chaps were the cheapest, came next day spot on.

Ordered a Storex MYTV BOX HD Media Player from CBC COMPUTERS they were a couple of Quid cheaper than everyone else! BIG MISTAKE. they take your money and kick backabsolutely in no hurry to send the itemno answer on the phonePeople like this give Ebay a good name! I get fast delivery from private sellers on ebay! this lot couldn’t give a flying F*** Have cancelled the payment, MY ADVICE dont be seduced by their competitive pricing, I’ll be sticking to AMazon after this and save the dissapointment.

Horrible — avoid! Monday — placed an order. Thursday — nothing heard so contacted them. I was told it was with CityLink and I would get a tracking number. Following Monday — contacted them and was told the order was cancelled the day after I placed it because of a «stock discrepancy». So they cancelled the order two days before telling me that CityLink had it. I will stick with well known companies that don’t mess me around.

Ordered a hard drive from this company. I was not very impressed when I received an email from them a whole 9 days after I ordered telling me my item had only just been despatched! Seriously 9 days? I have also been advised to wait a full 14 days from the despatch date before I complain if the item does not arrive.
Needless to say, I’m not one for waiting, I ordered the item and want it to be here now. Next time I’ll pay the extra £5 and use a different company!!!

CBC Computer Systems is a brillient small local business with excellent service and support. It is a company with young and enthusiastic staff who really give good advice, and seem to care about how well you understand their advice.
Good competitive prices on laptops and helpful staff. I went here for help with my Toshiba laptop after I purchased it from another shop, and I really wish I’d bought it from here, as their after care and prices are much better.
I have also bought my son a games console from here for Christmas!
