Truly appalling and expensive. We had kebabs and bhajis which were very good. But the main courses, rice and nan breads were truly appalling. I counted four small pieces of chicken in my chicken methi, which made them almost £1−50 each, and could not taste any methi whatsoever in the dish. In fact it was difficult to taste anything at all in the sauce, which was thick and gloopy without the slightest spiciness of any sort. My wife’s lamb karahi gosht was a similar story a few small bits of meat in a generous helping of bland, tasteless, gloopy sauce. The rice was a strange combination of dried up yet greasy and the nan breads were even worse, being slightly dried up, stale and fusty tasting. The menu said something along the lines of If you like our food tell your friends, if you don’t tell us, but complaints to the staff were met with indifference and complacency and a bill for just over £22. High prices, terrible quality and best avoided.

Superb curry house. Great selection of vegetarian meals as well as traditional Indian and English. Never been let down by these guys. The food is always spot on, as is the service. Prices are very reasonable. They’re not licensed so you can bring your own beer or wine. Comes highly recommended in my book. My only criticism is that the menu doesn’t seem to change often enough and the meals on there are just the very typical meals you’d expect from an Indian. It’d be nice to see a few more Indian dishes added or the menu changed a bit more often than it is. They also do a great delivery service.
