«Star Wars» anyone? Don’t worry… no spoilers here. To be fair it was Mr. Snarky’s idea. The nice thing about having the cinema at Meadowhall is that you could have dinner and a movie all in one place. We ordered our tickets online and just used one of the kiosks to retrieve them when we arrived. There was a line for drinks and snacks, so if you aren’t sneaking your own in, leave yourself a bit of time.
While you enter the cinema from the upper level, when inside, screens 1 – 6 are downstairs while the rest are upstairs. The screen we went into had VIP seats in the center. Mr. Snarky didn’t pay for them as the regular seats are actually quite comfortable and not too far off from the VIP seats in quality. However, we did sit right behind one of the VIP rows and I had the unfortunate experience of having the person in front of me leaning back quite far in his seat… surprisingly there wasn’t much room between my seat and his, so I have a small bruise on one of my knees that couldn’t escape his seat back.
Not sure if you can exit through any part of the mall when the movie ends after closing time as we parked nearest to The Oasis so we wouldn’t have to worry about this. Other than that, we were quite pleased with our experience, definitely better than our local cinema.

Vue is great for a range of films, from Thriller, Horror and Drama, to Comedy, Family and Romance, there is almost always a film for anyone visiting Meadowhall.
The cinema is pretty much constantly busy and can be pretty hectic during normal shopping hours, due to its location in one of the most popular shopping centers of the area.

I had visited VUE cinema in Meadowhall many times and they always have the latest films to view. I have recently been to see a movie and for £1 extra I got a luxury seat made of complete leather, with bigger armrests, more leg-​room and a seat which adjusts to your comfort! I was highly impressed by the surrond sounds as well.

Top cinema in Sheffield fancy relaxing and taking in a flick after hours of trawling the shops in the mall then pop in and relax with Popcorn, nachos and soft drinks can‘t fault the prices eithe. Largest selection of films in area

Sheffield’s cinemas are all good. Cineworld is a massive place, and I would imagine a lot of competition for Meadowhall’s Vue. However, Vue have done something different with their evo screens, where you’ll find couches and even beanbags to lie on.
Since the refurb, all screens, despite being small, have extremely comfortable seats (without the need to pay extra), and there is now a bar as well. Normal refreshments are still available, although there is often large queues at busy times. Ticket machines are available if you want to get in quick, and include a seat-​picker. They also give student discounts.

not the only cinema in sheffield, however it is in meadowhall shopping center so its convient. averaged priced, however not the biggest and the best. i would recommend cineworld if u want to watch films.

Vue is looking great since the referb. It is upstairs in the oasis.
Kids club at weekend is fantastic because you get an adult and child ticket for less than £2! It is really busy at weekends, but not during the week. so if your planning to go on a date, go in the weekday.
If there is no offer, it is quite expenisive so remember to buy your drinks and take your own snacks before hand. just shove it in your bag so they cant say owt to ya.

Good transport facilities, parking and a massive amount of screens — this is probably the best place in Sheffield to go an watch a mainstream film!

This cinema is fantastic they do an early morning kids club on Saturday and Sunday where you can take children the price for the ticket is great as it only cost £1.78 for 1 adult and 1 child. You basically pay for the child and the adult goes free. This is really cheap but i advice booking on line or going to book before hand as it can get busy but the films they have each week usually differ and the have some films which are still being shown at full price the rest of the week.
