Established in 2010.

My partner worked for the nursing team with the local NHS doctors surgery. We both suffered from skin problems and I paid thousands of pounds for IPL/​laser treatments for facial hair only to have the problem made much worse.

After much research we realised that basically the South west of England was really badly provisioned for electrologist who could provide a discrete and professional service. We decided in 2009 to get trained with a BIAE tutor on a one to one basis both in Reading and Somerset and after a couple of years set up our own business .

Karyn — Rosie R.

Business Owner

Karyn Originally started her work career in the film industry in Soho, but gave it up after her first child was born. In 1988 she began work in a doctors surgery later progressing to working for doctors in the West Middlesex Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital before moving down to Somerset in January 2000. She started at the Park Medical Practice where she obtained her NVQ3 in health care and has worked with their nursing team since.

Rosie Originally started her career as a commercial photographer, but changed direction to work in television when she started with the BBC and then to Granada television in Golden Square Soho. She then studied for electronics and a BSc computing degrees. She worked latterly with Avon and Somerset Police and South West One IT systems. She is still the media co-​ordinator for The National Trans Police Association.

Five years ago Karyn and Rosie decided that they could work together to help people in need with skin or weight problems.
