I love domestic cats. I own two, a kitten and an adult cat and my adult cat has been missing for 7 days now so I am really worried. I shouldn’t panic he has done it before. The amount of money I have saved on feeding him this week has been substantial, but that doesn’t matter. I love to buy him treats.
Some irresponsible cat owners don’t spay or neuter their pets and as a result, lots of mating occurs. Cats have three mating seasons a year and have five kittens from each pregnancy. The lucky cats have homes and cats need to be looked after and fed every day. They need stimulation, sleep, feedings and love. Does a cattery provide this?
I was considering this before using their services. A friend used them and said they were fine. When I spoke to the manager about the welfare of the animals they look after I was relieved when I was told they were well cared for. My cat came back a week later happy.
From what I have heard and from my experience, Catz do look after our precious babies quite well. I get the impression that this is a good establishment.

Don’t let the youthful, ‘crazy’ Z in the spelling put you off, this is an absolutely first-​rate business that goes above and beyond to be as kind to nervous owners as not-​too-​put-​out-​at-​all cats.
The word-​of-​mouth was excellent, but we needed to do a recce ourselves to make absolutely sure we’d found a home-​away-​from-​home for two, six-​month-​old kitties.
The pens — or ‘chalets’ — were roomy, the security was second to none, and dedicated, daily stimulation was genuine. But where the business really impressed was with the staff who took the time to answer our, ssshh, slightly neurotic questions.
We were told, with patience and understanding, that it would be a lot worse for skittish owners than bold kittens — and they were right. When our cats were collected after a week-​long holiday, they were happy to see us rather than subdued and moody at having been abandoned, as friends warned us could happen.
Cutting to the chase, you will have to pay a fair few quid a day for all this privilege, but can you really put a price on peace of mind? It should be noted, as some small mitigation, that their feed is included in the price, with staff buying in your cat’s preferred brand. We will be using this business again.
