We are lucky to have Chris Carter at the end of our road. They are often very busy and we sometimes have to wait a while but this is because they take time and care over each consultation. Although you can specify your vet when booking — and for a recent longer-​term treatment we did this — we generally see whichever vet is available and they are all great. The reception staff are all friendly, even when things are a bit hectic. It is true that the waiting room is a bit on the small side but our two cats have never had problems because of this. Highly recommended.

I have been taking my pets to Chris Carters for years. They do have a high turnover over vets so you don’t always see the same person but they all know what they’re doing and I don’t suppose my cat cares if it’s the same person or not. The reception staff are always very helpful and my only real complaint of the surgery is that the waiting area is very small and when some inconsiderate person comes in with a large dog that bounds up to my cat basket and barks, there’s very little I can do. It would be helpful if there was a separate area or if the size of the waiting was increased.
There is parking outside and it’s usually quite easy to get a last minute appointment if there’s an emergency.
