DG Servicing

History

Established in 1983.

Double glazing started to become very popular in the turbulent 1970s, a time of strikes, power cuts and expensive fuel. The 70s was also a time when council tenants had the right to buy their homes. These first time home owners were keen to modernise their properties, by replacing outdated coal fires and drafty single pane windows.

In 1983, DG Servicing was formed as a company by husband and wife partnership, Susan Guiver & Peter Guiver. DG Servicing responded to this first wave of double glazing installations, by offering a less expensive alternative to double glazing replacements in the local area of Southend-​on-​Sea, Essex.

Over 30 years later, DG Servicing is as busy as ever and now offers its services throughout the South East of England. DG Servicing is part of the DG Group which has several companies which operate in different sectors of the window and door industry. These include ADS Automated Door Systems, DG Supplyline, Dawes & Green and CopyFob.
