This a place in history how can I give it less than a 5 star rating. Granted it’s also a very nice cosy pub with a great atmosphere and a good selection of real ale. But what really makes this place historic is the fact that the first ever meeting of CAMRA was in this very pub

This is quite a pleasant pub. It is a shame that is owned by Mcmullens, so beer range is so limited. Their Country Bitter is alright, mind you. A farrier is a specialist in equine hoof care. Thank you Wikipedia!
