Same as most comments on this page, did a double Ferrari, the instructor was very good, the track so-​so tarmac with small cones, the biggest thrill was driving the Ferrari.

i paid 400 pound for a track day but wouldn’t have paid 50 for what it was.
Waited long periods (sometimes 90mins) for a 3 minute drive round a small oval track.
Staff were unhelpful and unfriendly.
Very disappointed and feel well and truly ripped off.

So, plenty of good reviews, plenty of bad reviews on this site — hopefully mine will help settle some other peoples nerves which I had from reading this site prior to going ;-)
I got the Ferrari and Rally experience as an xmas present. I’ve done two previous driving days, one at Silverstone and one at Thruxton so have a little bit of experience before this one. I agree that yes, the track is small, but actually, for the £99 (xmas deal) paid I thought the experience was very good. 3 laps in a Clio doing handbrake turns on a designated track, 6 laps in the Impreza, and 6 laps in the Ferrari on the ‘main’ track. The main difference I noticed was with the instructors — the guy in the Impreza was terrible, very nervous (perhaps just my driving), and offered little in the way of instruction… but the guy I had in the Ferrari was great. He gave me lots of tips, hints to get the most out of the car, and let me use 2^nd/​3^rd/​4^th whilst on track… really encouraging me to get my foot down.
If you want a full on day then go on and pay the £240 at Thruxton, and you’ll have a great time, but if you’re on a bit of a budget I really can’t fault this.

Went with a friend who took the rally gold package, If you are into rallying then go elsewhere as this is a total con. cars are restricted and quiet due to complaints over noise from their neighbours. Lots of time spent waiting around and not allowed to give the cars much stick. Phil price rally school in wales would give a much better experience, as would probably every other rally experience. Anyone who enjoys a day out here has never sampled anything else in the line of driving experience days. Avoid like the plague

I’ve done several driving days (Brungtingthorpe, Rockingham e.g.).
This track however is just an short strip of runway with a few cones up the middle so is not close to being comparible.
Organisation was also poor. The Ariel Atom I was driving turned up late — not a problem as these things happen. Despite this, I was told to wait 5 minutes after I registered for a briefing. Nobody showed for this after about 15 mins I collared a member of staff who denied the team-​name I’d been given existed and then when I explained the situation re: the car being late made the point that I was also late despite the fact I’d registered 15m early.
Also, the registration document included a free coffee on arrival, denied by the café.
Hugely disappointing. Organised via Drivers-​Dream-​Days who are genrally far better than this but have been let down by venue and Dri​veMe​.Net who they contracted this experience to.

I went there a little apprehensive after reading these reports
I was actually surprised, it was quite good!
My wife bought me the ‘Lambo & Rally Drive’ package £170 — granted you don’t get to drive a Lambo for 4 hours non stop, but what do you expect for the money you pay?
I got about 6 – 7 laps in the Lambo, handbrake skidding in a 106, a couple of laps in an ST with a ‘proper’ driver to show you how it ‘should be done’ and 6 – 7 laps in a Scooby.
After reading it was ‘badly set up’, I would have to disagree. At the start, you get put into one of 4 groups (about 5 to a group) and then the groups rotate thorugh the activities. When I went in the 106 my 2 sons went on a little 44 trip through bumps and mud — noithing fantastic, but they loved it.
The café, is a typical ‘Greasy Spoon’ type café, with quality similar to sort you’d find at one of those little Café on A Roads — nothing great, but palatable.
All I can say, appreciate that you aren’t going to get a £100k+ car to yourself and you’ll enjoy it

as a spectator. glad I hadn’t paid. totally agree with other reviews. \no facilities, just a rip off Café. Not Impressed.

Very dissapointing. Drove Aston 6 times round tiny circuit. Waited for an hour and a half for next drive, nothing happened. Got bored went home. Instructor was excellent, but facilities for guests and spectators left a lot to be desired organisation and information about what was going on was non existent. Save your money and dont bother with this experience.
