History

Established in 2006.

Situated in Greencroft Industrial Park in Stanley, The Greenhouse was built in 2006 to be the first commercial eco building in County Durham. We offer high quality meeting and conferencing facilities as well as business units to lease within a unique, eco-​friendly, professional environment. The Greenhouse is ideally suited for small to medium size enterprises looking for a place to grow.

Building features, such as a geo-​thermal heating a cooling system, designed to make the most out of natural resources whilst enhancing the local area.

A 35 metre high wind turbine that generates all the electricity for The Greenhouse.
