Considering this is a concession store it is a good size with a wide range of books, magazines sweets, snacks and all the other items you would expect to find. They have many of the same offers on books which are in teh main stores but I found that the sandwiches and snacks were a littel more than I would expect to pay, reflecting the motorway service position. Open 24⁄7 which I guess is what you have to pay the little bit extra for.

This is quite a large W H Smiths for a motorway service station, spaciously laid out and kept very clean and tidy.
It sells a wide range of newspapers, magazines, maps, travel items, and some toys (to keep small children quiet for the rest of the journey — or maybe a last minute present if you’ve forgotten to get something?). They also sell mobile phone top-​ups.
Best of all for me was the wide selection of sandwiches, pasties, snacks and drinks, given that I’m not a great fan of most fast food. Prices are a bit steeper than on the High Street, though.
Staff were friendly and service swift, and it’s open 24 hours.
