Love it here now that’s it has changed hands and become Tommy flynn’s. Great atmosphere with regulars from Robinson Crusoe times and a new mix of students from the uni campus across the road and a mix blend of everyone else leaving Clissold park also situated across the road stopping off for a drink and or a bite to eat. Micheal the bar manager couldn’t make you feel more welcome and his staff are friendly and Attentive even the chef will sometimes pop his head out to greet you with A friendly hello.
Sports can be watched inside and there is always music playing in the background, you can always ask the staff if you fancy a tune they are always happy to play it for you.
Traditional bar food such as. Giant burger with chip, scampi and chips, BBQ chicken wings, onion rings, pannis, baguettes, along with a children’s menu and specials such as homemade shepherds pie, Pri Pri chicken with spicy rice or Thai chicken with coconut rice. Sunday roast every Sunday for £8.50 with either chicken, beef or pork. Relax and enjoy your afternoon.
