Lazeez

So. In Stoke-​on-​Trent. With work. First time here, and thought I would treat myself to a nice curry. This place has good reviews but disappointed. Had a lamb madras and mushroom rice. arrived too be greeted by the waiter smoking a fag, and made to feel bad about inturuting him at the door. Ordered my meal, and a glass of red. To be fair, the wine is amazing, delicious, freash, and tastes of vanilla (yum), but the food came in two minutes and was hot but undercooked. By that I mean I could tell all the ingredients as they were seperate (tomato, onion, spice, lamb, garlic). They were under cooked so had not had tome to bind. I’ve cooked better at home and I’m an Englishman!!! Was expecong better from a genuine Ondian”. Plus, the waiter was ‘panicy’. He rushed around, gave me no time, and it’s Monday night = dead. Sorry, been to much better and disappointed with the food :-(

Lazeez is an Indian restaurant situated in Hanley town centre. It is quite modern and the food is pretty good although the curries can sometimes be a little greasy. They do pretty much the type of food you would expect to find in an Indian restaurant balti, vindaloo, madras, naan bread, rice etc. The prices are about average and what you would expect from this type of restaurant. The biggest problem with Lazeez is the toilets which always seem dirty. You can also find that later on in the evening, especially at weekends, the restaurant becomes full of very drunk people so probably not recommended as a family dinner destination. Lazeez is generally a pretty good Indian restaurant, although not the best I have been to.

Lazeez is an excellent Indian restaurant in Hanley.
When you first walk in, make sure you have a look at the photographs on the right which are of some of the celebrities that have eaten there.
The restaurant is split between two floors and is well decorated and clean.
The food is excellent and the service is very good. If you want a quiet meal then I would go earlier on as sometimes it can get quite busy and noisey with groups wanting some food after the pubs have closed.
Prices are about average at around £8−9 for a main course.
