The Ember Lounge is Staffordshire University’s Student Union bar, and situated on the college road campus. Ultimately, if you’re a student there, you’ll know about it. If you’re not a student there, there’s really no reason to go out of your way to go there.
As a union bar, it has pretty much everything you could ask for. It serves drink, it serves food most of the time (the usual faux-​trendy stuff like ciabattas), it’s got a few fruit machines and several pool tables, the seating is comfortable. A generic studenty atmosphere, and bar staff that are somewhat awake and affable.
