Established in 1932.

Harkers Removers and Storers Limited are members of the British Association of Removers and fully adhere to the trading standards institute approved code of practise. External audits by independent auditors are carried out every September to verify their compliance to codes of practise legalities and procedures. Harkers Removers and Storers Limited are ISO 9001 approved quality managed company, BS EN12522 accredited quality service providers for the home removal industry. Harkers are also members of the B.A.R. commercial moving group they are BS 8522 accredited quality service providers for the commercial removal industry. I have 37 years experience within Removal storage and furniture distribution companies. Having started as a porter worked through the ranks to general manager fulfilling all vehicle and office based roles accross various departments including accounts, payroll, human resource and transport manager.

Working within the removal and storage sector of the current business for the past 6 years of 17 years of managing within the group as general manager. I have contributed to the successful delivery of various improvements including ISO 9001:2008, BS EN 12 522 and BS 8522 accreditation, CHAS approval, Constructionline membership, CSCS certification for employees, and combining technical knowledge and understanding with a strong customer care focus.

Specialties: Using the experience gained I deliver a logical hands on approach to our business ethics. Ensuring clients whether domestic or commercial know they are the most important aspect of our business.
