Fell across this place whilst in Sutton, and popped in for an evening meal. I good thing is it has 5 stars for their food hygiene lol. The décor is basic — does not really have a feel of Indian to it, the menu is not extensive b ut what we had was actually rather nice. Staff friendly and accomodating but the waitress that served us did not really know the menu and had to keep popping back to ask her colleagues the questions I was asking. The children’s menu was a mix of English and Indian — my son had chicken and chips(dont laugh) ok. lolol I will. If you get there before 7pm kids eat for 99p. Put it this way, he was looking forward to his tub of Ben and Jerry’s afterwards. My daughter and I shared a lamb curry, nan and jasmine rice — this was rather tastey and not too greasy at all which can be the case with a lamb curry. The meat was tender and no traces of fat were present. It came presented in a flat white dinner plate… normally isnt curry served in a metal bowl and if your lucky on a warm burner to retain the heat. so as you can imagine, it didnt stay hot for long, but the rice was really hot and kept the heat. I am not sure if I will go back, I am more a fan of Balti’s
