Established in 2008.

My name is Chris Billingham. I started up ‘Page One Web Design’ in Swansea in 2008 to help individuals sell their goods and services online. I now provide website design & internet marketing services to clients in Swansea, Bridgend & Cardiff.

My main interests are Local Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Internet Retailing. My former passion was surfing waves but these days its surfing the information sea to enhance website visibility.

I started my working life as a trainee accountant but later switched career by studying for an Msc Computer Science at Swansea Uni in 1995. This led to a lecturing post in IT at Bridgend College where specialized in teaching web design classes from 1996 to 2006.

In 2006 I left academia to start up my own online business Swimmer Ltd. The website www​.swim​mer​.co​.uk sells waterproof MP3 players, cases and headphones for swimming to music.

Its online growth has given me valuable experience maintaining first position for a number of keyword terms in the organic search results on Google. During this time I found that whatever your particular niche is, it has not been very difficult or costly to get to the top search page of Google.
