Specialties
We breed and sell alpacas on the edge of the Cotswolds on the borders of Wiltshire and Gloucestershire. We have an on-farm Alpaca Shop (open Saturdays 10 – 4) selling everything hand-crafted from our alpaca fleece and give free demonstrations of rustic crafts. We offer Alpaca Yurt Holidays in our luxury yurt in the middle of our alpacas, provide craft courses, Alpaca Experiences, bed and breakfast and much more!
Come and experience these amazing animals and receive a very warm welcome. You can follow us on Twitter or ‘Like’ us on Facebook. Our very clever alpha-female alpaca Mary, writes a quarterly newsletter and we have a blog on our website.
We are extremely easy to find and have plenty of parking.
History
Established in 2007.
Latton Alpacas started as a hobby and grew and grew! We began with four alpacas and the herd is now 40 strong!
We do everything we possibly can with the fleece from our herd (which is like cashmere), and in 2010 opened an on-farm Alpaca Shop which sells a wide variety of garments, gifts and balls of yarn as well as Ashford spinning wheels where you can try before you buy.
We are open every Saturday from 10 – 4 and in December each we are open Sundays too.
In 2011 we opened for bed and breakfast and in 2012 we took delivery of our first luxury Peruvian-themed yurt giving glamping and off-grid holidays a different twist!
Meet the Business Owner
Mym H.
Business Owner
Mym & Adrian have previously run other successful, non-farming related companies but in 2007 decided to have a complete change of direction. Business meetings, targets and foreign travel were ditched in favour of wellies, toenail cutting and chain harrowing! Follow our story on our blog or sign up for breaking news from the paddocks on Twitter or Facebook.
