We had a party there the other night. The food and atmosphere was great. The staff was at attentive to our needs and was very friendly. Will definitely go there again.

A bit hit or miss.
Went for a family meal, and it was perfect. As a large group of 12, we all got served our food at the same time. They catered well for the children, which a lot of places struggle to do.
The staff were friendly, polite and helpful.
On the other hand, I had been to 2 events here, and both were disappointing. The food prepared was substandard, as was the so called service.
Would come for a meal again, but not an event.

I would positively recommend anyone to have a meal at the Moat House. I have been there tonight and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food was superb and plenty of it. Will definitely go again. Prices were cheap for the amount of food provided.

Parked here the other week, had to walk into town to get money from the bank, returned to find car clamped by James Brown, Alpha Traffic Management. £100 in cash for release of my vehicle.
Manager of Moat House nowhere to be found, bar staff unable to offer any help, although happily sold me drinks to me and my troop of very tired and thirsty children.
Having purchased drinks I was a patron of the establishment and as stated on their sign next to the pub door was entitled to FREE PARKING.
Have been to appeal with Alpha (which is a joke, its just James Brown and all he is there to do is rob motorists!), been in touch several times with Manager of Moat House and got no joy.
Small Claims Court next stop.
