Firstcall was set up with the sole purpose of providing a swift and efficient mail-​order supply of darkroom and associated products from our own purpose-​built photographic distribution centre in Creech St. Michael, Taunton.

Meet the Business Owner

Rodney B.

Business Owner

Rodney Bates formed Firstcall in 1990. Having worked for over 30 years in the photographic trade, he realised that High Street photographic stores were no longer catering for the demands of the creative photographer.

He decided to form a company to cater for their needs — particularly in the darkroom product-​related areas.
