The Grand Junction Arms

I have been coming to this pub since I was child, as my family lives right next door! I have always enjoyed popping over to the junction on my visits home, and have seen it go through several ownerships. My family have very much been an integrated part of this pub, and are a part of the furniture… My sister even worked there for a while, and really enjoyed it.
The food and service are both amazing, and they have recently redecorated the garden. It is gorgeous! It overlooks the canal, and is favoured by both locals and tourists. I recommend taking a walk (both in the summer and winter) along the canal, and stopping off here for a lovely lunch or dinner. if you are travelling along the canal on a boat, then make this a «must stop» en route, because the atmosphere and service are certainly worth it.
