I have been eating here for 25 years. But does that make it any good? Well, this has always been the first to try and then perfect new dishes. It was the first in South London to introduce Balti for instance. The menu has both traditional dishes Madras, Korma etc and wonderful alternatives, including Twai, chicken and lamb(on a flat metal dish sizzling), Murgh Piaza Rampur(get a dansak sauce on the side and mix!), Lamb Sath Khania… The owner is a delightful chap and it’s a family business. Just DONOT go there on rugby days as you wont get in! Try the Eel Pie at the other end of Church St for a pint of Badger before you go!

Lovely Indian restaurant — great food, friendly staff and excellent service. They only miss out on 5 stars because it can be a touch on the pricey side, but by far and away the best curry house in Twickenham.
