Giving a lift home to some of «the rellies» last night, they asked to stop here for a kebab. It was after 1AM, so this place stays open fairly late. Being sober, I was in a good place to judge the quality of the food, despite the relative lateness of the hour. I actually opted for the basic donner with salad, chilli sauce, garlic mayo & the standard whole green pickled Peperoncini chilies(a condiment combination recommended by my cousin — who’s been here before — but with the peperoncini added myself — gotta have those). I’d say it was a decent kebab for an after party binge, but not necessarily one I would choose for during the day. This place gets extra marks, however, for their use of lavash bread. It’s advertised as Naan on the menu, but it isn’t, it’s much thinner and quite tasty, making a change from the norm. Perhaps, for this reason, I’ll return to try their chicken or mixed kebab.
