Decent service; very friendly staff. If you’re going for ravioli expect to need a side dish as well, it was rather flat, but held up well. Let down entirely by the forced ‘happy birthday’ track played to a 40 year old lady. Bad enough for a child, let alone a grownup, it’s a bit TGI Friday! Would still recommend it for a good catchup with friends, meal for two with drinks and desert came to £30!

I would rate this restaurant as a zero I would never ever recommend this restaurant to anyone. Although the food is half decent, no better than Pizza Express, the service leaves everything to be desired! We were left for two glasses of wine, and not even with any bread to eat while waiting during a busy service, an absolute disgrace. After our main I asked for a dessert menu; and after drinking a large £7.50 cocktail the dessert menu had failed to arrive. At this point I asked for the manager to complain, however he failed to come out of the kitchen to deal with the complaint, this was despite a major blow out with staff after I asked them to step away from the tables. I subsequently paid my bill refused service charge and will never ever go back to this restaurant again. A minus score would be too good for the standard of service in tis restaurant.

I am not a big pasta fan, so most of my friends think I am wierd, my sister’s think I am milkman’s, my mum assures it is okay not to like it. So in a fit of bravery I went to the Capri Bistro and ordered had some lasagna and it was wonderful with a very light sauce which tasted heavenly. I went again tonight intending to try another pasta only to side tracked to order the Filleti ai Ferri medium rare and I have to say this the most beautifuly fillet steak I have ever eaten in my life it meaty cooked to perfection with a very lite flavour a dish of sheer genius, my only complaint is that I couldn’t eat it all so my male companions had to help me out. A place worth re-visiting and I will.

Got to say that I’ve eaten here a few times now and on each occasion thought it was distinctly average. In my opinion it has got to big for it’s own good. The service depending on when you go can be quite rude as they try to fly around and serve everyone. Cost wise, it is what you would anticipate from a restaurant that thinks it is better than it is. There’s better around.

I have to disagree. Yep it can be very busy at times but that’s because its one of only a handful of decent restaurants in Wakey! Obviously avoid Friday and Saturday evenings to miss out the rush hour, but the staff are always friendly and welcoming and great food! Fancy new décor and lovely bar area means that waiting for a table is a pleasure and well worth it i might add.

Went the once and wouldn’t rush back. Don’t get me wrong, the food was nice and service was ok but the atmosphere was definitely lacking. Too brightly lit, surrounded by large noisy families celebrating birthdays — definitely not the place for an intimate, romantic meal for two(which you sort of expect from a nice Italian place). Perhaps my expectations were wrong?
