Aura Rosa

I was on my way to a hair appointment when I passed this place. It looked like some wonderful edible scene from Alice in Wonderland and believe me, it did not disappoint
The freshly baked and iced creations leaving the kitchen were magazine perfect and equally as tempting. Classical music played in the background and the owner, Gio was so lovely to me and the other customer present, I damn near moved in.
I started with a drink and was politely told they did not serve typical soft drinks and was instead shown a range or cordials to be blended with sparkling water that included flavours such as rose hip and blood tonic. That’s right, Blood Tonic! Of course I had to try it. Whatever fruit blend it was, it came was wonderful and came served in a champagne flute with a fresh raspberry floating in it. I quickly realised that presentation was something that would wildly exceed my expectations here.
As it was 10am, I decided to have a Croque Monsieur which came beautifully presented with a side salad and was, by far, the best darn Croque Monsieur I’d ever had. I practically inhaled it and couldn’t leave without buying two of the huge beautiful meringues they made in house here.
Needless to say, I left with a smile on my face.
Great service, exceptional food and fantastic presentation. Perfect.
