History
Established in 2007.
Previously under the name of Eurobytes owned by John Gates, Darren Gale took over the existing computer business. Formerly being a technician of Eurobytes himself and owning Excel Mobiles for phone unlocking, Darren’s views are the same as John’s, of building reliable custom built machines and fair pricing of repairs. We are also at times able to offer free advice to those buying from us at non-busy times.
In the last few years Darren has expanded the business in the group giving more phone unlocking and unlock by codes options, hosting plans on a dedicated linux server, further knowledge of the latest virus and malware threats and now mobile phone repairs.

I have been interested in computers since joining Corfe Castle C of E First School having started on BBC’s, then Acorns at Wareham Middle School and finally PC’s at Purbeck Upper School. After leaving school I attended and passed my GNVQ in Advanced Computer Systems at The Lansdowne Centre, Bournemouth & Poole College.
Due to employers after employees with work experience, I then worked for Texaco in Holton Heath and Sandford for a short while until I was offered a job at Motosport Motorcycle Centre. There I was head of the Aprilia Spares Department, in which I also maintained their computer systems for 2 ½ years as well as building one of the busiest Aprilia spares web-site in the UK.
I was offered a job working for John Gates in 2005 as technician but also ended up working for Advanced Computer Systems in Poole temporarily maintaining customers computers and business machines. When John decided he wanted to move to Scotland I then took over and formed Excel Group.
