This building was opened by HRH Queen Elizabeth II on the 17th May 2012, and opened to the public the next day. It is a very modern facility at a cost of £32m and offers fitness lab, gym, sports hall, dance studios, squash courts, 3G pitches, standard grass pitches, swimming pools, steam room, sauna, library, café, pharmacy, and lifestyle services. Additionally there are hospitality and venue hire facilities. This was my first visit inside the hub as I was trying out the swimming pool for free, as I had a voucher from Warrington Worldwide magazine. I was impressed with the facilities, however the pool was a bit busy due to there only being a 1 hour window for adult swimming at the time I visited. There are days where 3 hours are available between 4 — 7, therefore it may be a bit quieter as people will stagger their arrival. I think I will return to this facility as it provides me a chance of one off swimming sessions(£3.75 adult).
