Specialties
TrustGuard is a small family run business carrying out work for both domestic and commercial customers throughout the whole of the North East, our services include treating Rising Damp, Penetrating Damp, Woodworm, Dry Rot, Wet Rot, Wall Tie Replacement and all associated building works.
Quite often we inspect properties suspected of suffering from rising damp when in reality it is other factors that are causing the damp issues, including; leaking or blocked rain water goods, high external ground levels, external render bridging the D.P.C, condensation, leaking pipes, defective pointing, unvented chimneys where a fireplace has been blocked up, faulty flashing etc. It is therefore essential that you call an experienced surveyor to correctly diagnose your problem to save on unnecessary costly works.
We will explain the cause of any problems, what work is needed, how long it will take to do and how much it will cost to rectify. Why not get in touch for a free quote?
History
Established in 2010.
TrustGuard was set up in 2010 by Don Cellini. The business initially concentrated on providing a honest & reliable damp proofing and remedial building service to home owners throughout the North East.
Six months later, and due to the customer demand, we rolled out our service to deal with commercial customers as well, and since then we have carried out numerous jobs for estate agents, letting agents, local authorities and housing associations to name a few.
With a view to keeping up to date with new products & research, Don recently sat and passed the Property Care Associations Qualified Technicians exam and can proudly display the letters (PCAQT) after his name. The Property Care Association is the lead trade body for the damp proofing industry.
